From Friday Night to Monday+, we have been BURIED in SNOW!!  24 Inches
easily fell, I had 36" in my driveway, took 2 hour of shoveling w/ 3
people just to get the 4x4 vehicles out of the drive way. There was a
rush on the grocery stoves BEFORE the storm and now there is ANOTHER
storm coming and there is ANOTHER RUSH on the stores. Many places have
NO bread, NO milk, NO Lunch meat on the shelves... A lot of NO... I'll
tell you all about this AND SOME GREAT SOLUTIONS ( I have plenty of
bread) I have to these problems but first here is FUNNY PHOTO. Yeah..
I took the photo...its a Harris Original. Could NOT help jabbing a
friend of mine that I gave a ride to work

My Dodge Diesel truck weighs 8000 lbs, it can take 2000 lbs of cargo in
the bed and easily pull another 10,000 pounds. At just the curb weight
of 8000 lbs, and an average fuel economy of 18 mpg, I get better fuel
economy PER POUND than a Toyota Prius does. That is the MAGIC of diesel
engines. Most new diesel engines have a better brake thermal fuel
efficiency than a PEM fuel cell on Hydrogen.


.... but enough of that.. the Blizzard Story. 3 Full Days After the
snow STOPPED, many of the roads are still snow covered, the 4 lane roads
are just 2 lanes, traffic is slow and in the city there is still a foot
or more of snow on the main roads and you're driving in RUTS. My
wife's 20 minute commute to work became a 3+ Hour commute to work.
According to the News, Washington DC is still shut down even today,

Monday. Its incredible what 2 feet of snow will do. This is the 1st
large blizzard I've had, the 2nd 24 inch of snow blizzard for DC and
there is ANOTHER one on the way..... the forecast for the snow we just
got was originally for 4 to 8 inches of snow...and now we have a 6 to 12
forecast for the next one. So...we'll get nothing, or clobbered
again...I think its going to be clobbered.

Oh.. I forgot... the snow was heavy and it stuck on everything...made
everything a winter wonderland, everything was white. The bushes, the
trees, the wires the power lines and much more covered with heavy snow.
Trees leaning over like you've not seen them do before, power lines
sagging, trees falling over across the road and held up by the cable and
power lines (saw it, got the photos)...and our power failed. We were

one of the lucky ones, my power was only out for 2 hours and it was
after midnight. A simple $20 inverter, a long extension cord and some 5
watt compact florescent bulbs gave us all the light we could want and we
continued to watch a movie on the laptop and watch the snow come down.
We have a natural gas fireplace so we had warmth and a nice glow... it
was really nice. I did not have a worry at all..not for food nor power
and you can do the same thing...not have a worry in a situation like
this.. I've put solutions out for this for a LONG TIME.

Something like THIS CAN affect you. If its not a blizzard, its a flood
or an earthquake or a large blackout or an ice storm etc... my most
recent video is Bread From Gasoline. I show how to make bread in a
bread maker on a simple inverter on your car battery and I show you how
much bread you can make off just the battery, and off the vehicle at
idle. I made a BIG 2lb loaf of bread in ONE HOUR, EACH HOUR with the
$50 bread maker... which you might pickup for $5 at a rummage sale. I
go over the details...well..in detail. The video is 90+ minutes long...
you KNOW how I go into details and give demonstrations and show
examples.. MULTIPLE TIMES. At the grocery store today, here was little
bread....there was a few loaves of 12 grain sand paper bread on the
shelves...

...but not much, but if you go look one isle over the shelves are
loaded with flour. I give exact details on how to make the bread from
nothing but Flour, Water, Salt, Sugar and Yeast. NO OIL, NO MILK and
its DELICIOUS BREAD and since I have no oil nor milk nor butter in the
mix, you can literally let it sit out and dry, or keep it in a plastic
bag for weeks and months and it won't spoil.... only moisture and the
mold that come with it will make it go bad. What I am saying is a bunch
of loaves are PERFECT for DAYS or you can make it fresh each day if you
desire... or make it hour after hour and feed your neighbors. A bread
maker is to bread like a washing machine is to cloths. Dump in the
ingredients, push start, and 1 hour later the load (bread) is done. You
